Surrounded by pine forest hills, the small sandy beach of Cala Salada is a favorite destination for people on the island and private boat owners. The water is beautiful and clear, shallow and perfect for swimming. The seabed is mostly soft sand. It fills up on summer weekends and people are seen lying on the rocks that separate Cala Salada from its neighbor Cala Saladeta. You can also jump from the cliffs, but be careful and check the depth of the water first, it is not safe to jump from anywhere (although other people do).
On the rock ledge to the right of the cove there is a very picturesque stone tower with paths that take you to the top of the neighboring sandy beach of Cala Saladeta. To the left there are fishermen's huts dug in the rock. There are very beaten paths that lead to the hills and are very popular for excursions in this area of unspoiled nature.
